TEMPLE POND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

Over the weekend of August 2–3, 2024 a new pedestrian bridge was installed across the outlet of Temple Pond, thanks to the hard work and generosity of our volunteers. This beautiful bridge now offers a safe, convenient connection from the Temple Loop to the Loren, Panther, and Sunrise trails—improving access for hikers, runners, and nature lovers alike.

We invite you to visit and see the bridge for yourself!

This project was made possible in large part by Loren Harris, who generously donated his time, equipment, and expertise to design, build, and install the bridge.

Now, we need your help to cover the cost of materials and support the ongoing work of Lord Hill Park Advocates.

If you’re inspired by this project and want to see more like it, please consider making a donation today!

ABOUT US

Lord Hill Park Advocates was founded in 2018 to preserve the tranquility and natural beauty of Lord Hill Regional Park. We’re a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to protecting and enhancing the park’s trails through community donations and grants. Every contribution goes directly to maintaining this cherished space for our community today and for future generations.

With no paid staff or high overhead, our work is simple but impactful: a volunteer board, this website, and a growing fund to support our mission.
